NEXT EVENTS 2024

With the summer holidays behind us, it’s time to start planning your attendance at the remaining industry events that are coming up in 2024. We find that the year’s remaining congresses are a fantastic opportunity to catch up in person. They’re also highly informative, addressing niche areas within the area of automotive, allowing us to learn about the latest developments and challenges.

The Autonomous – Vienna 23rd – 24th September

Offering in-person and virtual attendance options this year, The Autonomous gets into the safety details of autonomous mobility and systems. Presentation topics cover the regulatory landscape, the rewards of software-defined vehicles (SDV), and safe and fail-operational architectures.

ELIV – Bonn 16th – 17th October

ELIV is the largest annual congress covering automobile electronics, software, and applications. This year, INCHRON will deliver a presentation entitled “Dead at 100ms: Responsive Functions Require Well-Designed Event Chains and Excellent Timing Requirements” that includes contributions from Matthias Glück, Volkswagen AG. Join us in the room “Vienna” at 11:45 on the 17th of October.

Key topics covered include:

• Event chains & end-to-end data flows with a focus on the end customer.
• Timing requirements across multiple architectural levels for clear responsibilities.
• Methods, process integration, and tools to enhance development efficiency.
• How improved team collaboration can introduce a fun factor into the work environment.

ACC – Munich 18th – 19th November

Building on years of growing interest, ACC is now a global conference. The Germany event will take place in Munich and will explore hardware requirements for SDVs, central compute platforms, chiplet standardization, and the role of artificial intelligence in vehicles.

Olaf Schmidt will be available for discussions throughout the event at the INCHRON stand
